This reminds me of the works of hieronymus bosch, a medival artist who uses almost the same abstract imagery in his depictions of Hell and all that. This is a great painting.

This is a very surreal, beautiful, and meaningful work. The work reminds me strongly of the styles and pieces of Salvador Dali. I personally like the madness associated with the skeletons and the cannon firing atop the maddened head.
